Yesterday, I was a little busy, to busy to pull a blog together, the reasaon was I got into teaching a surveying course looking at setting out a small garage and adding profile boards to the site. Now this is something, most Architectural Technogists do not get involved with, so it was a refreshing day looking at the way profile boards are used on site, and one I thought worthy of adding to my CPD list.
We all know not to knock or move the boards on site, but do you realise how much they are used, from setting out, to levelling. Its a subject worthy of some research. It looks into basic surveying, geolocation, brickwork, tape work, and measuring, levelling, a hole heap of things.
Don’t forget, I will host a tech hangout every Friday at 3 pm, call in to chat, moan, find out something, anything to do with Architectural Technology. follow me on Google + “+stevescaysbrook”
